Jashvini A. Rajendran graduated with an LL.B (Hons.) degree from Multimedia University. She was admitted to practice as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2017.

She has ventured extensively into litigation matters such as monetary recovery, disputes related to strata management, medical malpractice, land disputes, employment and industrial relations disputes, injunctive remedies, corporate and commercial disputes. She also has valuable experience in handling repeating bankruptcy proceedings. Aside from litigation, she has attended to various sale and purchase of commercial properties, industrial, mining and agricultural lands.

After setting up her own firm in year 2021, she has since advised community credit companies approved by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government on the regulatory compliance. She also has been advising companies from various sectors of industry on the acquisition of company, joint ventures, incorporation of business structure, acquisition and disposal of business and assets and commercial contracts on retainer and consultant basis.

  • Part of the core team carrying out legal due diligence exercise in Sacofa Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries in Indonesia, PT Sacofa Indonesia and PT Bangun Interkoneksi Nambas
  • Advisory work for Maribumi Starchtech Sdn Bhd in procuring intellectual property license from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)
  • Advisory work for Maribumi Starchtech Sdn Bhd and Maribumi Sdn Bhd in reviewing and preparing various agreements between the employer and employees, i.e. Employment Agreement, Confidentiality, Non-Solicitation & Non-Competition Agreement and others in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Litigation
  • Assisted the lead counsel in a suit pertaining to divisions of powers of management between shareholders and directors of a Company Listed in Bursa Malaysia Exchange: Tengku Dato’ Ibrahim Petra bin Tengku Indra Petra v Petra Perdana Bhd [2018] 2 MLJ 177
  • Assisted the lead counsel in a debt recovery action representing Sancy Berhad (Company Listed in Bursa Malaysia Exchange)
  • Part of the core team appointed by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia involved in reviewing PAM Contracts 2006 and Standard Form of Building Contracts introduced by Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA), now known as Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC)
  • Assisted the lead counsel in a claim to enforce an arbitration award: Dahan Cipta Sdn Bhd & Anor v Yong Tshu Khin & Ors and other appeals [2017] 6 MLJ 638
  • Assisted the lead counsel in a suit pertaining to divisions of powers of management between shareholders and directors: Tengku Dato’ Ibrahim Petra bin Tengku Indra Petra v Petra Perdana Bhd [2018] 2 MLJ 177
  • Part of the panel lawyers appointed by MPI Generali Insurans Berhad to represent its policyholders in defending liability claims, i.e. medical malpractice, subrogation and motor vehicle accident
Corporate
  • Involved in drafting various agreements for Jepak Holdings in respect of implementation of Integrated Hybrid Solar Photovoltaic System for Sarawak rural schools
  • Assisted the lead counsel in a winding up proceedings representing Medan Sepadu Sdn Bhd and Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Kaum Melanau Sarawak
  • Involved in drafting agreement pertaining to Perak State Secretary’s project known as “Skim Pembangunan Kediaman Bercampur” to develop the State of Perak
  • Experienced in conducting and preparing reports of corporate meetings including annual general meetings (AGM), extraordinary general meetings (EGM) for private and public listed companies, i.e. Dagang Nexchange Bhd (Company Listed in Bursa Malaysia Exchange)
